Erasing the "Stigmatization" of Indigenous Women.

Realizing an inclusive village certainly requires participation from all parties to be actively involved in planning the village's future.

The Karsa Institute in Central Sulawesi, through the support of the Partnership for Governance Reform through the Estungkara program, has currently facilitated the formation of women's forums in 6 villages of Sigi Regency, which will later become forums for indigenous women to gather and discuss without any hierarchical boundaries.

This forum is encouraged to be able to play a strategic role in determining the direction of village development policy. Meanwhile, in a larger context, it is hoped that this forum can get traditional women out of the stigma of being objects of development in the village.

The Village Government really appreciates the idea of establishing a women's forum. This was conveyed after the activity was carried out. As a form of appreciation, this forum was followed up by issuing a Village Head Decree regarding the establishment of a Women's Forum.
