Pundi Sumatra signed an MoU with Dekranasda (National and Regional Crafts Council) of Bungo Regency and the Bungo Culinary Souvenir Center 'Angel Bolu Sawit'. This signing was carried out on August 11, 2023.
This activity aims to develop and expand the smoked fish market, which is an economic endeavor of the Anak Dalam Tribe (SAD) community.
Previously, through the Zakat Community Development program, Pundi Sumatra held multi-party discussions. Inviting Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and supermarket owners in Bungo Regency. This meeting discussed cooperation plans that could be carried out to increase the Mino Hasop Eluk smoked fish market.
The cooperation plan involves several aspects. Such as developing the smoked fish market and increasing synergy between local government and local businesses. As well as increasing cooperation with supermarkets in Bungo Regency.
“Of course it is very important to collaborate with many parties. "Mina Hasop Eluk would not have been able to develop without the help of many parties," said Yori, Project Estungkara Coordinator.
Dekranasda provides an opportunity for Mina Hasop Eluk to market its products in the 'Angel Bolu Sawit' supermarket.
"Currently, only Angel Bolu Sawit is willing to collaborate and market smoked fish products. "For other supermarkets, they have certain requirements and criteria, for example the packaging must be made more attractive," said Yori.
In this MoU, several important points are included in it. Namely, strategic and competitive pricing and marketing. Also a sales return policy, flexible partnerships to adapt to market needs and developments. Then, routine quality control to ensure the best quality of smoked fish products, regular payments, and transparency in transaction records.
It is hoped that the signing of this MoU will form a mutually beneficial partnership, expand market access for Mina Hasop Eluk, and increase the variety of culinary menus in the area with the best quality smoked fish.
"This collaboration is expected to be able to support the growth and economic independence of UKM Mino Hasop Eluk which has obtained a halal certificate from the MUI," concluded Yori.
