Talang Mamak indigenous women are part of traditional society in Jambi Province whose lives depend on forest resources and process these resources for consumption both individually and communally. They have also known the traditional farming system with simple farming and small-scale plantations.
Talang Mamak Women have an important role in managing their plantations.
