Dwi Karya Bakti Deep Child Tribe (SAD) cadres coordinated with the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), on Tuesday, October 24 2023. They are Juliana, aged 18 years and Tira, aged 13 years. They are also active administrators of the Mina Hasop Eluk Business Group.
Mina Hasop Eluk is a smoked fish economic business group owned by the traditional community in Dwi Karya Bakti. Even though it has only been established for approximately two years, this business group has received the attention of many parties. To increase independence for the management, field assistants from Pundi Sumatra invite business group administrators to get involved in various things. Including coordinating and disseminating business group proposals.
Coordination was carried out by visiting the Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda), the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), and the Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas). Apart from carrying out routine coordination, during the visit the cadres brought two files of proposals for requests for business equipment assistance.
The arrival of the SAD cadres received a very good response from local officials. The cadres used this opportunity to tell stories about the development of the smoked fish business unit. Also their idea was to make a processed product in the form of fish floss. The reason is that the harvest from fish rearing ponds is sufficient to produce a large number of fish. So it can be produced into other processed products besides smoked fish. However, the process of making fish floss requires complete work tools and kitchen equipment. For example, ovens, blenders and hanging scales.
Dekranasada, Bappeda and Baznas also responded favorably to the request submitted by Dwi Karya Bakti SDA cadres. The relevant government said it would realize the assistance needed by the Mina Hasop Eluk business group in 2024.
“There is no further budget to provide assistance with this equipment. Because we have established toilet facilities at the location. "So for this year there is no aid budget for SAD," said Duminis, Head of Baznas Bango Regency.
Pundi Sumatra's aim in involving SDA Dwi Karya Bakti cadres is to provide an example to cadres on how to coordinate. Also communicate with regional officials, and grow their confidence to have direct dialogue. Communicate the needs and problems they face. This process is also a stage carried out to prepare cadre independence in continuing the coordination relay with the regional government.
