The Children's Tribe Wins the Favorite Competition in the Creative Dance Competition

The Dwi Karya Bhakti Anak Dalam Tribe (SAD) was invited to celebrate the 58th National Health Day (HKN) in Bungo Regency. This event was held on November 4 2023. The Rantau Keloyang Community Health Center team asked SAD Dwi Karya Bhakti to perform a creative dance with the theme Washing Your Hands with Soap (CTPS).

For more than two weeks, joy and enthusiasm enveloped the female cadres of the Anak Dalam tribe. Namely, Juliana, Siska, Tira, Ita, Ratih, and Olivia. They practice harmonious movements, arrange their bodies in perfect harmony, and prepare their competition equipment diligently. Facilitators and the Rantau Keloyang community health center team also provided motivation to each cadre on their journey to the HKN commemoration stage.

The Muaro Bungo Regency MTQ field witnessed the beauty of the offerings from various participants. Some come from sub-district level health centers, health campuses, hospitals, and health clinics. In fact, there were also special invitations from the Youth Red Cross Organization (PMR) and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).

A warm welcome from Dr. H Safaruddin Matondang, M.PH, Head of the District Health Service. Bungo, open the curtain on the show. Balloons released into the air represent a symbolic opening. The creative dance from SAD Cadre Dwi Karya Bhakti was the initial highlight, followed by performances from other agencies.

Until finally, the anxiety of the children's tribal cadre team paid off when they received a warm welcome from the invitees. Child tribal cadres won the title of "favorite champion" among all competition participants.

Juliana, one of the SAD Dwi Karya Bhakti, with a heart full of joy, expressed her gratitude. “We are happy because it feels like we are being appreciated by the community. "The dance attributes that we created utilize those found in nature," he said.

He also showed the hat decoration made from leaves that they had sewn. He also shared that their preparations only lasted a week, from choosing uniforms to dancing attributes that stole the show.

Victory in a competition is not just about bringing home a prize, it is an immeasurable honor. The inner child tribe cadres who were given the opportunity to perform a dance at the opening of the event, became a moment they will never forget.

“We are happy that our younger siblings can be given the opportunity to participate. "This is a lesson for them to have the courage to interact and appear in front of the public," said Ulvi, Pundi Sumatra field facilitator.
