Most people in Muntei village still have difficulty accessing BPJS, due to limited quotas available.
The Head of the Social Service said that overall there are currently 11,000 BPJS quotas for the Mentawai Islands Regency, of these 11,000 quotas, there are still around 100 that have not been filled.
This data was conveyed by the Head of Social Services in a discussion in his office on April 11 2023.
People who do not have a BPJS card or are not in a condition will have difficulty accessing health services whose financing is covered by the Mentawai Islands Regency Social Service.
According to the Head of the Social Service, data collection should be carried out as soon as possible on residents who do not have a BPJS card or whose BPJS card is no longer active so that they can immediately carry out arrangements to activate the BPJS card.
Processing a BPJS card is carried out by attaching a photocopy of your KTP and KK as well as a certificate of incapacity issued by the village government and submitting it to officers at the Social Service for verification.
