Pundi Sumatra in collaboration with the Jambi University (UNJA) Matching Found Team inaugurated the Kelukup Aoh Berghsih Posyandu. This inauguration was held on November 14 2023 at the Dwi Karya Bakti Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) community. This inauguration is a symbol of hope to improve the health status of the SAD Dwi Karya Bakti community.
Present was the head of the Bungo Regency Family Empowerment and Welfare Mobilization Team (TP PKK), Dr. Hj. Verawaty Mashuri, S.Pd, M.Pd, as well as representatives from various related agencies from district to village level. The chief executive of Matching Found, UNJA, expressed his thanks to the SAD Dwi Karya Bakti community who took part in providing this Posyandu.
"The Posyandu that was established will not only last as a temporary program, but can develop and provide a sustainable positive impact."
This inauguration was immortalized in a series of events. One of them was the handing over of appreciation plaques to all parties who contributed and the neat appearance of the SAD cadres.
Posyandu Kelukup Aoh Berghsih is not just a place to prevent disease or provide complementary foods for breast milk (MPASI). This event is filled with enthusiasm to provide physical and spiritual health protection to the community.
The UNJA Matching Fund team also provided equipment assistance packages. The aim is to encourage routine activities over the last six months to be sustainable with the support of Pundi Sumatra.
Chairperson of the Bungo Regency TP PKK, Mrs. Dr. Hj. Verawaty Mashuri, S.Pd, M.Pd., expressed high appreciation for the existence of this Posyandu. He emphasized the importance of health not only in the body, but also in the heart and mind. His proposal to add a consultation table as a forum for talking about spiritual issues was an added value that was recognized by all parties. Posyandu Kelukup Aoh Berghsih has significant differences from the others.
Yori, the project coordinator, explained that the difference lies in the service model and the parties involved. SAD cadres are asked to be part of providing this health service. Two additional tables, namely the Traditional Medicine Table and the Counseling Table, add a spiritual health dimension to posyandu services.
Sri Bungo, head of the posyandu group, expressed his gratitude for the guidance and knowledge provided by the UNJA team. The cadres succeeded in organizing posyandu activities independently. Make it a place not just a place for health services. It is also a real platform for realizing better physical and spiritual health of the community in the future.
