Pundi Sumatra collaborates with the Estungkara Program to hold reproductive health awareness activities and training in sewing cloth sanitary napkins in the Anak Dalam Tribe community in Dwi Karya Bakti Hamlet.
This activity was held as an effort to increase knowledge and awareness about reproductive health, as well as provide skills in making safe and environmentally friendly cloth sanitary napkins to women in the Anak Dalam Tribe community.
The activity targeting women's groups has been going on for two days. On the first day the activity focused on a workshop on healthy menstruation and recognizing women's bodies to understand body health and the health changes that occur, while the second day focused on training in sewing cloth sanitary napkins and the practice of caring for cloth sanitary napkins.
This activity was attended by competent speakers in their fields, namely Ani Safitri from Beranda Perempuan and Nur Hasanah from the group supported by Beranda Perempuan. They provide participants with insight and experience in maintaining reproductive health and meeting women's needs safely and appropriately.
The training took place on 20-21 May 2023 in the SAD community meeting hall. This event is designed with an informal atmosphere, providing an opportunity for participants to interact and share knowledge comfortably.
The expected results of this activity are increased knowledge of SAD women about reproductive health, increased awareness and knowledge in making decisions related to fulfilling safe reproductive health, as well as increasing skills in making cloth sanitary napkins.
