Encouraging the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as Recipients of PKH Assistance

YCMM held a meeting with a group of PKH (Family Hope Program) recipients in the assisted area in Muntei Village, South Siberut District.

The meeting was attended by groups of PKH recipients and local hamlet heads. On that occasion, the community conveyed several things, including that the community still had difficulty confirming when the PKH funds would come out and when they could be disbursed. So far, people have checked themselves by taking their PKH cards to the bank to confirm whether the PKH funds have been released or not. As well as conditions where there are still several family members who do not have BPJS.

The hamlet head who was present at the event said that he would re-collect all residents who do not have BPJS and who have not yet entered the DTKS, and would coordinate with PKH officers in Muntei Village.
