Bungo Regent, H. Mashuri, SP, ME. had the opportunity to visit the location of the Anak Dalam Tribe assisted by Pundi Sumatra, precisely in Dwi Karya Bakti Village, Pelepat District, Bungo Regency (23/05). This is Mashuri's first visit since 2016 as Regent of Bungo Regency.
The Regent of Bungo arrived at the location at 10.00 WIB and immediately headed to the fish rearing pond called Mina Kelukup. This fish rearing group has been authorized by the village government. This harvest activity is a form of collaboration between the Livestock and Fisheries Service and the Bungo Regency BAZNAS.
In August and December last year, the Central Baznas through the ZCD program provided assistance with 3,000 tilapia fish seeds and 3,000 catfish seeds to this group.
The Regent of Bungo had the opportunity to throw the net for the first time as a symbol of the fish harvest at the event. A total of 50 kilograms of catfish and tilapia were successfully harvested by the participants.
Next, the group headed to the smoked fish production house which was established in 2021. Smoked fish is one of the economic businesses of the SAD community which received a halal certificate by the MUI in December 2022. Apart from visiting the economic businesses of the SAD community, the Regent and his entourage went to Taman Baca.
This first visit also served as an occasion for the inauguration of the Reading Park which was named Ghumah Belajo Bhetilek Elmo (House for Learning to Hunt for Knowledge).
Mashuri's presence is of course an opportunity for Pundi Sumatra with the support of the ESTUNGKARA program to hold a multi-party FGD with other government agencies. This FGD is a continuation of the discussion forum that was held in 2022 at BAPPEDA Bungo Regency.
On this occasion, the Bungo Regency Livestock and Fisheries Service provided egg assistance to 46 heads of families in the SAD community of Dwi Karya Bakti Village. This handover of aid was the conclusion of the series of events.
