Encouraging Health Services, Bungo District Health BPJS Issues 149 JKN Certificates for SAD

On Tuesday, July 18 2023, the Bungo Regency Social Service together with BPJS Health visited the location of the Anak Dalam Tribe (SAD) settlement in Dwi Karya Bakti, Pelepat District, Bungo Regency.

The aim of the visit was to hand over the National Health Insurance (JKN) certificate/certificate directly to the SAD community. Since the beginning of 2023, Pundi Sumatra, with the support of the ESTUNGKARA program, has been trying to oversee the administration of JKN for the community in this location, in ensuring that there is adequate access to basic health services in this community.

This process was also accelerated with the support and facilitation of the Bungo district Social Service which input SAD data for access to the program. Sirlinawati as the Head of Social Affairs at the Bungo Social Service, expressed her joy on that occasion, "We at the Social Service are very happy to be able to help our residents with SAD. If they seek treatment at the Community Health Center or Regional Hospital, they don't need to worry about the costs. Just show this JKN certificate and all fees are free!" he said.

Purwanto as Head of BPJS Services and Membership Division in his speech also socialized the importance of JKN and other benefits.

"With the issuance of this JKN certificate, our Anak Dalam Tribe families have received the same rights to health services from the state. The state, through the Bungo regional government, has provided health protection or protection that can be used whenever needed. When you are sick and need treatment, it will be free or free!” he said.

A total of 149 JKN certificates were handed over by BPJS and the Social Service to the SAD community. This handover was also witnessed by the Chairperson of PMI Bungo, Verawaty Mashuri (wife of the Regent of Bungo Regency) who at the same time was attending the blood group checking agenda and the implementation of routine posyandu at that location. Community awareness of the importance of maintaining health is also increasing, with awareness efforts regarding PHBS, socialization of infectious diseases, education about healthy food and mutual cooperation actions.
