On April 15 2023, Pundi Sumatra held an infectious disease awareness outreach, MPASI making training, and stunting prevention for the SAD Rombong Juray community in the Community Meeting Hall. Together with field facilitators, this agenda collaborates with the Limbur Tembesi Community Health Center, Bathin VIII District, Sarolangun Regency.
This activity is also equipped with direct practice on how to make healthy and nutritious food. The women's group was taught how to make healthy food and how to serve it so that children like it. Health workers and volunteers also provide information about the importance of providing adequate nutrition for children, especially during periods of growth and development.
Apart from that, the SAD community received free examinations and treatment from the community health center during the service. From the results of the examinations carried out, skin diseases are the diseases that most commonly infect this community.
Personal hygiene is still one of the homework that must be completed by the support team. In the future, health services and education about health will be services that Pundi Sumatra will continue to encourage together through the ESTUNGKARA program.
