Anak Dalam Tribe Community Gets Qurban Assistance

In order to celebrate Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijri, the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia (BI) for Jambi Province through the HERBI (Bank Indonesia Sacrificial Animals) program handed over a sacrificial cow to the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) community in Dwi Karya Bakti Village, Pelepat District, Bungo Regency, Friday, June 14, 2024.

The handover of the sacrificial aid was carried out directly by the Head of the BI Representative Office for Jambi Province, Warsono, to the CEO of Pundi Sumatra. The sacrificial cows given to the SAD community were donated by Mrs. Malis Naini Sri Mey Yanti. She serves as the Executive Director of the Strategic Management and Governance Department at the BI Head Office.

The HERBI program is one of BI's social initiatives that aims to provide support and assistance to communities in need. Especially in remote and isolated areas. This program not only aims to distribute sacrificial meat but also to strengthen the ties between Bank Indonesia and the community. It is hoped that through this HERBI program, the recipient community, including the SAD community, can feel the real benefits of this activity. Also, it can improve their quality of life.

The selection of the SAD community as a recipient of HERBI assistance is not without reason. This community is located in an area that is included in the 3T category (Underdeveloped, Frontier, and Outermost). Often lacking attention and access to various assistance and facilities. By providing assistance to this community, BI hopes to provide an even contribution among the general public and indigenous communities.

The implementation of the sacrificial slaughter was carried out on the second day of Eid al-Adha, precisely on June 18, in the Suku Anak Dalam community settlement in Dwi Karya Bakti Village. This activity also involved all residents of Pasir Putih Village as recipients of sacrificial meat. The event took place from 8 am to 10 am and involved Suku Anak Dalam cadres and villagers. The total recipients of sacrificial meat were approximately 65 heads of families (KK). The involvement of the community and villagers in this social activity is one of the efforts that continues to be encouraged by Pundi Sumatra with the assistance of the Partnership Partnership to create inclusive living spaces.

Apart from providing sacrificial assistance, Bank Indonesia will also provide equipment for prayer rooms in the Anak Dalam Tribe community. The assistance is in the form of cupboards, sound systems, microphones, fans, and prayer equipment. This aid will be distributed in commemoration of 1 Muharram 1446H.
Head of BI Jambi Representative Office, Warsono, said that the provision of sacrifices and assistance in the form of equipment is a form of concern from BI employees to the community in the 3T region, especially the Suku Anak Dalam community. "We hope that this assistance can be useful and provide happiness for our brothers and sisters in the Suku Anak Dalam," said Warsono.

Tumenggung Hari, as chairman of the Anak Dalam Tribe group, expressed his gratitude for the sacrifice provided by BI Jambi. “We are very grateful for the assistance provided by Bank Indonesia. "This means a lot to us, and we feel cared for," he said gratefully.

This HERBI program not only provides benefits in the form of sacrificial meat, but also becomes a moment to strengthen social relations between BI and indigenous communities. This also shows BI's commitment to supporting and paying attention to the welfare of communities in remote areas. Ensuring that social assistance can be felt evenly by all levels of society.
