Lukah is a traditional tool of the indigenous Anak Dalam tribe for catching fish in rivers. Made from bamboo, rattan, or resam.
The use of Lukah is useful so that people can catch fish in reasonable quantities and still maintain the aquatic ecosystem.
The lukah will be placed between the gaps of rocks in the river water that is not too deep. Currently, the community assisted by Pundi Sumatra makes lukah to be used as accessories or home decorations that can be ordered.
